General Rules for Rentals (other guidelines may apply due to specific area selected)

•    Only those over 21 years of age may reserve the facility.
•    Promotional pieces may state that your activity is being held at the Tuscarawas County YMCA, but in no way should it appear as though it is being sponsored by the Y.
•    Smoking and/or use of any tobacco is not permitted anywhere on YMCA property.
•    Alcoholic beverages are not permitted anywhere on YMCA property.
•    Food, beverages, and gum are confined to the Multipurpose Room and front lobby and are not permitted in the Hanhart Chapel or beyond the lobby doors.
•    No running in hallways.
•    Profanity is not acceptable.
•    If an incident occurs during you rental, you must alert the front desk staff so they can take appropriate action and fill out an incident report.
•    Do not arrive more than ½ hour prior to your rental, unless arrangements were made on your original rental request.
•    You have ½  hour before your rental time in the Multipurpose Room to decorate and ½ hour after your rental in the Multipurpose Room to clean up. Trash must be bagged, tables wiped down, and floor swept and free of litter.  If the Y needs to clean after your rental, you will be invoiced at $10/hour.
•    Set-up, clean-up and take-down of tables and chairs is the responsibility of the group leader, unless other arrangements were made when reserving your rental.
•    Decorations may be used if approved by the YMCA.  Removal of decorations will be the responsibility of the group using the facility.  No glitter, confetti, or plastic confetti is permitted inside the Y.
•    Youth Groups must have a minimum of one (1) adult for every 15 youth.  Chaperones are to stay awake, alert, and in the area of activity for the duration of the rental.
•    A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all reservations.  All balances are due before the day of the rental.
•    If you need to cancel your reservation, please call as soon as possible.  A credit or refund will be given for any amount paid above the deposit.

The Y has the right to hold the group leader responsible for any loss or damage to the facility or equipment, and has the right to remove from the facility anyone who is unruly or fails to follow Y policy and procedures.
