New Spin Classes have been added to our all ready jam packed schedule. Check it out!
We want to welcome Spin Instructors Jim Cahill to 5:30 AM Wed (Starting March 7) and Fritz Johnson to 6 PM Monday evenings. Both of these awesome Spinning Instructors are Y Volunteers. They just LOVE Spinning and want to share that love for the bike with all of you. We hope you will join them soon.

Great News! Spinning is now FREE for Members!

Plus we now have a Spinning Bike in the Wellness Center for you to use to Spin Solo anytime. Connect to your favorite Youtube Video and headset and enjoy a great cardio workout anytime. This bike gives you the ability to stand up in those pedals and ride hard. Technique is easy to master - ask a trainier for bike set up and a few quick tips, then put on your music and go. You will love our Classes. Instructors are highly motivating and class flys by. Great for all levels. Beginners Welcomed!

We offer a full line of Fitness Class from Yoga to Boot Camp. Below you will find full descriptions of our classes. All Land Fitness Classes (except for Yoga and Spinning are FREE for Members). Visitors may attend our fitness classes by using the pay-per-day plan of $8 or purchasing a Fitness Class Punch Card. The punch card may be used on Yoga also. Either way you decide to join in the fun, simply stop at the Member Service Center to purchase class or receive a punch for your card. Water Fitness Punch Cards are also available for sale. Punch Cards make great "Healthy" gifts for your friends.

Fitness Classes (except for Yoga and Water Aerobics) are FREE for MEMBERS.

Guidelines
  • Children may attend classes as long as they participate in the class.
  • Childwatch is available and is free for Members. Others may purchase a pass at MSC.
  • Duration: Most classes are approx 45 - 60 min
  • Classes are open to the community. Fitness Classes listed on the schedule are Free to Members and $6 per class for Others. If listed with (*) check pricing at our front desk.
  • ROM = Range of Motion

Boot Camp

Every Body Fitness / Low Impact Aerobics

All levels (Great for Beginners) 60 Min Cardio
Great for beginners and baby boomers. Exercises designed to increase muscular strength, ROM and cardio endurance. Like the old style aerobics? - you'll love it.

Interval Circuit

Experienced 30 Min Strength
1/2 hr Power packed workout. Concentrating on major muscle groups - designed to create strong muscles and challenge your spirit.

Cardio Training-Intensify

All levels Approx 60 Min Cardio & Strength
If you like Turbo Kick, Bootcamp, Tabata, and piyometrics style classes you will love this high-energy, super motivating. Get addicted to achieving more. Combines shadow and kick boxing, sports drills, dance moves.

Fusion

All levels 60 Min
Cardio and strength intervals using step combinations and light weights.

LaBlast

A revolutionary dance fitness program, based on all the dances you see on “Dancing with the Stars” that fuses dance into a serious calorie burning workout.

Strength/Cardio Intervals

Shred

All levels Total Body Resistance Training 45 Min Strength

SilverSneakers (ROM) Available in Dover and Uhrichsville locations

Beginner 45 Min Range of Motion
Chair exercise class. beginners, seniors, or special needs. Fun and easy to follow.

Gentle Yoga* (pay-per-day or pay by the session)

All levels 60 Min Balance, Relaxation, Range of Motion
