Looking for a fun, part time job with the rewards of happy and healthy children? We are looking for Gymnastics Instructors for our Gymnastics Team and Progressive classes.The right candidate has some gymnastics experience, high energy, enjoys working with children of all ages, and is self-motivated. Hours vary.Some responsibilities include; record keeping for rosters, working independently, organizational skills, able to spot and lift children, lifts equipment and mats, understand the fundamentals of basic gymnastics, can teach gymnastics using drill stations, follows the core values of the YMCA; Respect, Honesty, Responsibility, and Caring.This is a growing program of progressive level gymnastics. We have a young dynamic team mostly levels 3 and 4. We are looking to grow our team and have potential hours coaching as well. If you have gymnastics coaching experience and have the ability to work evenings and weekends, please contact Anne Riggs at the Tuscarawas County YMCA . Approx. 4-12 hours weekly.

Under the supervision of the Healthy Living Director, this position will represent the YMCA personally, professionally and in a manner in accordance with the mission and goals of the YMCA.
The Member Service Center will be responsible for collecting daily passes, membership and program sales, telephone handling, regulating lobby traffic, provide all membership and program information, knowing policies and procedures as well as implementing them.
Staff should also be knowledgeable in membership promotions, special events and the computer software.
In keeping with the YMCA’s emphasis on Character Development, staff should conduct themselves in a CARING, HONEST, RESPECTFUL, and RESPONSIBLE manner.

Job Title: Day Camp Counselor (Male)
Status: Seasonal 30-35 hours per week / 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM / June 6-August 19
Reports to: Child Care Director
Requirements: Must be 18 years of age and a high school graduate. Candidate must have the ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. Must also be able to guide school age youth with creativity, patience and good communication skills. Must adhere to the YMCA mission and values.
Hourly Wage: Minimum

POSITION SUMMARY:
1. Plan, create and execute daily games and activities.
2. Maintain order during camp program hours.
3. Interact with the children and give them positive feelings.
4. Provide a clean, safe and supervised environment daily.
5. Conduct oneself in a manner that is appropriate for the children.
6. Dress oneself in a manner that is appropriate for the children.
7. Follow YMCA policies and procedures; respond to emergency situations.
